The Redmond Ridge project was an extensive remodel that redesigned the major areas of this home to completely fit our client’s needs and desires. Our designer loved working with this fun and hardworking family to ensure they had a great home to spend time together in. The project spanned over a two year and was divided into two faces. The first phase focused our attention on the kitchen, fireplace, dining room and master bathroom. Both husband and wife love to cook so it was important to them to design a space and layout that allowed them to cook together and created a welcoming space for their family and friends to hang out in. Mister loves to cook seafood so one important design detail for them was a prep sink in the island where they could prep and defrost that nights seafood dinner. During this first phase we opened up the kitchen to the family room and updated the fireplace giving this family a light, bright place to hang out. Choosing the white cabinetry throughout the kitchen, living room and dining room helped us to keep this space as bright as possible. We continued the white cabinetry and light finishes through to the master bathroom to ensure this couple had a relaxing spa like retreat.
In phase two of this project we took on the basement entertaining area, the basement bathroom, the laundry room, the upstairs hall bathroom and the loft space. Since this couple was about to become empty nesters they wanted to make sure they created a fun place for their kids to come home to. Our designer loved hearing stories about how this family would entertain friends and family with movie nights in the basement area. The dramatic color palette of the wet bar area set the right vibe for the occasional poker or game nights. They continued the same color palette into the basement bathroom to ensure the space was cohesive throughout.
